DyNAmic Sequencer

The nice people at Jazzmutant asked me to do a sequencer for Ableton Live using Max 5 and, of course, the new and improved Lemur v2. So, I did. The result is the DyNAmic sequencer - a step sequencing instrument with modulation capabilities. I had some old school references in mind when designing the Live rack making up the sound engine; two percusive sine generators, one percusive noise generator and a simple saw/pulse wave bass synth.

The sounds come alive using modulated filter and bit crush effects, the physics of the Lemur object  Breakpoint Envelope and a dynamic pattern handler using the Lemur’s Ring Area. All sequencing data is handled by the Max patch.

But enough talk - head over to the Jazzmutant workshops - and see for yourself!
