Paradigm Shift
It hurts. And it’s a releif.
The last six months has not been very productive. Not music wise. Still I’ve bought new gear thinking “when I get my XXX everything will get rolling”. Strangely - it doesn’t.
So I’ve tucked away much of my gear. Focusing on a much slimmer setup. Not defining myself by my music (that doesn’t get done anyway) anymore. Hopefullt some of that stress will disappear. Don’t need to sit here with the pressure of creating when you don’t have the gear calling for attention. “Look at us - we’re worth plenty of dollares and don’t get used”. I even ditched my monitors for a pair of Logitech “multi media” speakers. It gives me desk space. And ease of mind. Who needs monitors when you’re just a hobbyist not releasing stuff?

sad to hear that your last month weren´t so productive. Don´t take it to serious. I love your work. Yeah - and maybe you are more a technican than a musican…who knows? One for sure: your technical skills have deeply inspired me.
