The geekness continues

maxpat_textureI will continue to make musical contraptions for the Lemur and Live. These will most likely be constructed in Max5. In any case I’ll keep sharing what is shareable. What goes around comes around - and I’ve learnt immensely from communities like the Ableton forum and the Mutant chat.

Head on over to the Binary stuff to check out what’s available so far.

I sent this question to you on youtube as well, but was unsure you check your messages through youtube as I myself never do. I couldn’t find your regular email which is why I’m posting a comment instead. I downloaded the DyNamic Lemur Patch from the Jazzmutant website and really like it, but I can’t figure out how to save my settings and patterns? I know I can record my work in Ableton but that’s something I normally wouldn’t do until I knew all my settings were perfect and that doesn’t usually happen in a single session. I posted this same question on the Jazzmutant forum and someone posted some instructions on a way to save my settings, but it didn’t work at all. I was wondering if you could tell me the best way to save the settings and patterns I create. Thanks for your help.,

  • As the patch is constructed - only way to save is if you own (and open the patch in) Max 5. Then you’d just save the Max patch itself. I usually save under a different name and keep in my Ableton Live project folder.

I’ve been thinking about the need to save myself. Maybe I’ll include a way to save in a future upgrade.
